Business Systems Analyst

Must have skills : Education: College degree preferably in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics or Management
Experience: 1-3 years working experience as a business analyst or in systems development, preferably in applications supporting financial services industry. Experience in Trust Banking preferred.
Minimum one (1) year work experience as a Business Analyst or Developer, with actual experience in working on projects or providing application support for financial systems. With working knowledge in Oracle PL/SQL.
Service-oriented; Good communication (verbal and written) skills; Attentive to details
Determines, analyzes, and documents requirements from the business community and coordinates with the developers to create the system specifications.
Identifies possible improvements in the business processes to reduce manual work and overhead, as well as to improve overall turnaround time of business processes.
Identifies areas for improvement on both manual processes and automated systems being developed and supported.
Communicates with the developers for clarification of business requirements, testing, and reporting of errors found in the systems being supported.
Prepares and documents manual and system procedures in support of the business needs.
Conducts business or functional training for the business community and technical team as needed.
Provides post-implementation and production support for supported systems including analysis of complex production problems raised by business users.
